MPEG-Net is a modular suite of Windows (95, 98, NT, 2000, XP) software designed to manage, automatically distribute and play video (with stereo audio) that may, at your choosing, exceed broadcast quality. We can provide software or complete systems to meet your administration, and playback needs. The Playback Module plays lists of MPEG-2 clips that you create, and can play multiple lists. It can play from 1-to-16 channels of broadcast quality video. The Playback Module can also control projectors, and check bulb hours and perform many other operations. It creates logs that you use to monitor operation, schedule maintenance, and invoice your customers. These are automatically compressed and encrypted and sent to your central repository. You can overlay an image on top of the video program, in any screen location, and set its transparency. For more information about how this product is configured, please see the Playback Module page.
The Playlist Module allows you to create playlists and manage your video library. You can print playlists, and the total play time is constantly updated to help you stay on schedule. For simple playback operations, you can create text-only playlists using Notepad or another text editor.
The Commander Module allows you to create lists of commands that execute remotely on the playback machine at scheduled times, or in response to certain system events.
The Log Reporter Module retrieves logs from your central repository, decompresses and decrypts them. It prints reports based on these logs. Several reports are available for administration, billing and maintenance purposes.
The Administration Module is where you put information related to your customers and their orders. It helps you to automate and schedule workflow. This module works with the others to insure on-time content delivery and playback. The administration module includes integrated Playlist , the Commander and Log Reporter modules. This can have internal accounting or integrate with QuickBooks Pro, or Peachtree. You can export data to work with other packages.
